Winters Walk

We had a great day out yesterday in Hainault Forest with our cameras why not have a look in our days out file and see what a great day out it can be the family with its farm, café and toilets for the little ones that just cant make it home hehe xx

Again it seems to be months since I have last posted anything, I just seem so busy with work but I am trying to make more time for myself to get back in the craft room and take some time for me below is some of the stuff I've been working on this week whilst I have had a week off work.

Hi Everyone!!

 

Thought I would show you some of what ive been up to I love this new die from Xcut this is a 8x8inch cards so it shows you how big it is, I have distressed the back ground and layered it up with a nice sage green background, I have complimented it with a burgundy ribbon to bring the pattern out in the background paper.

 

Picture does not do this justice because of lighting :-(

 

I am entering it for the Lets craft and create challenge hope you like

Good evening,

 

Just a quick note to say Yah!!! after 3 years away from crafting, I have sold my first card on Ebay, after months of preparation and hard work getting all the new sites and Facebook pages ready and the new craft room taking so long to get ready and the delay in the delivery of it, I didn't think it would every come to anything, I lost all my client base whilst I have been away and I guess I just started to doubt myself, so this is a boost for me,

 

I cant thank my family enough for all the help and support they have given me specially with the amount of time I have been working late just to get stuff done, my daughter building all my new accounts on twitter, instagram, Facebook I think this mumma is coming into the 21st century with a bang hehe, she gets so ashamed when I get excited about it all lol.

 

So I thought I would share my first sale of Ebay with you and hope you like the presentation as much I do lets just hope the client does.

Afternoon All!! x

 

Well This is one I have made today not sure if I am going to enter it for a challenge as

I am still working out which challenge sites are up and running :-(,

But I am happy with it, its a 8x8 card with

 

Spellbinders Ornamental Tags two

Papermania Capsule collection ribbon

and singles frames and flourishes stamps

I love the simple black and white theme.

 

 

 

 

 

Wow!! I cant believe it has been a year since my last post but I am finally back after so long away,

 

I have a new craft room being built and I am so excited by the challenges that are still around, can not believe how much has changed and I am playing catch up on so much.

 

I have made a new card and I'm not completely happy with it but not bad for the first one in about a year scary how rusty you can get

This weeks collage work

This weeks all round parallel design I made at collage

Well exams are done :-) only 4 weeks left in this year and then starts my second year in my floral classes :-)

I have added some of my pieces on a new page the link is on the right if you

would like to have a look, all comments welcome xxx

I wasnt completely happy with this design, I wish I had used roses instead of lizzies, as much as I love Lizzies in warm weather they wilt and that is what has happened here, and they have lost their parallel lines :-(

Also I wish I had used a softer foliage as pitta can be a bit over powering and the aspra leaves were a little large and had to be rolled several times, been better to use a smaller leaf.

It's a Girl

I just brought these stamps and I think they are so cool x

I used the Bazoo Just for you stamp and coloured it with promarkers.

Backing paper from Bazoo too and backed it a toffee coloured card,

This was topped off with ribbon and flowers brought from the Range.

Busy week

Hi guys

This week has been so busy for us, we both have exams to be handed in so been working hard :-(  and the kids are on school holidays so we have a house full :-(

Its twenty to one here so think I need to stop hitting the books and hit bed, so if no one has heard from us this we appologise.

This was a difficult one for me hehe but i hope i have done ok

I used a embossed backing to give texture, my new border cutter that i used on my bigshot

White feathers and a lovely white and silver ribbon that i brought from Hobby Craft

and finally my Kenny K image.

C.r.a.f.t Challenge Card

I enjoyed this challenge at c.r.a.f.t.s , it was fun gave me the chance to design some new digi's

 and that is always a good excuse :-)

I coloured all the images with promarkers, and I used a blackcard to give the picture a darl frame and I choose the paper from one of my cd's, I thought it would be different than the normal star paper, and the spaceship is on a spring.

Allsorts and Gingerloft Challenge card

I think this card is cool :-) i enjoyed making it I used 4 different stamps and masking to make up the image and stamped the sentiment so I think I covered Allsorts challenge hehehe and Gingerloft challenge of under the sea :-)
