Busy week

Hi guys

This week has been so busy for us, we both have exams to be handed in so been working hard :-(  and the kids are on school holidays so we have a house full :-(

Its twenty to one here so think I need to stop hitting the books and hit bed, so if no one has heard from us this we appologise.

Kenny K wow Challange Card

This was a difficult one for me hehe but i hope i have done ok

I used a embossed backing to give texture, my new border cutter that i used on my bigshot

White feathers and a lovely white and silver ribbon that i brought from Hobby Craft

and finally my Kenny K image.

C.r.a.f.t Challenge Card

I enjoyed this challenge at c.r.a.f.t.s , it was fun gave me the chance to design some new digi's

 and that is always a good excuse :-)

I coloured all the images with promarkers, and I used a blackcard to give the picture a darl frame and I choose the paper from one of my cd's, I thought it would be different than the normal star paper, and the spaceship is on a spring.

Allsorts and Gingerloft Challenge card

I think this card is cool :-) i enjoyed making it I used 4 different stamps and masking to make up the image and stamped the sentiment so I think I covered Allsorts challenge hehehe and Gingerloft challenge of under the sea :-)

Kenny K and Sketch Saturday Challenge card

I love this sketch from Sketch Saturday, I have never used it before and it was perfect for blending with the Kenny K challenge, I think they work so well together :-)

Papers come from the daisy and dandilion collection, ribbon was brought from the range and flowers were brought from warehouse, Obviously image is a Kenny K :-)

Dylan's card and CES Challenge card

I made this card for a little boy called Dylan, He is a 9 yr old boy recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor (Diffused Pontine Glioma) His blog is here http://dylandshaw.blogspot.com. My family was so touched by his story I made this card for him, so we could send him some love. I found out about this story from Dustin pike's site where I got dylan's free digi, at the moment they have a great bug so dont miss out on it.

I combined it with the CES Challenge taking the inspiration from the picture they are using, I used the checked pattern and the brown of the bed to make the backing, and the shape of the bed, made me think of my cutter I used,  the brads to represent the knobs on the chest of draws and of course Dylan the dinosaur's nice green and the ribbon colour represents the green of the stems of the flowers on the table.

I do hope he likes it, im off to the post office to send it :-)

Phhheewww!! Long day at the fair

Well I have to say I am shattered :-( it's been a good day but very long.

But we did good :-) just chilling now before tommorow, got to catch up on my homework

and decided what to put on for a free digi mmmm!!!
